Hagan could just as easily have said, "I wish to make it clear that I am a Christian, because I am proud of my faith. But what if I were an atheist? In the United States, you have the right to believe -- or NOT believe -- as you choose." And yes, I know, that might have hurt her in the polls. Don't care. She's been more and more bitter and angry sounding every time I've seen her do the chat shows of late (and moreso the ones on Fox News) that this really didn't take me off gaurd when I found out about it.
