Sean,

Response by email as a matter of taste and due to respecting the standards Bill has set for his blog's discourse.

But you'll all note that at no time is he responding to the request. This isn't about the pix, Bill just wants Jerry to stand up. In neither of these pictures, Photoshopped or not, is he standing up.

Ok, again, obvious signs of an amateurish attempt at photo fakery. Look closely at where Ian's right leg "goes under" my arm. You can actually see where Bill did a poor Photoshop cut and paste job and didn't bring the two images together properly. There are both signs of a gap where none should be and signs of some other image visible in the gap between the two images. The gap is obvious, but you have to look closely to see the other image crossed over into Bill's trickery. You can see the white lines of some other object where Ian's right leg "meets" my right arm.

Further, look at my left arm. Doesn't the size look odd? Even the shadows don't seem to fall properly on it or around it. The source or position of the flash is obviously different in the original two pictures of Ian and I. The likely basis for this Photoshopped fakery was using a picture of me asleep and one of Ian in his crib. My left arm is either repositioned in the new photo or pulled from one of the photos Jenn sent back when Ian was first born (Thus, the not quite right appearance of it in the Photoshopped job.)

The handsome devil with the sword however... Pure greatness. Taken placing a 2X4 on a bird bath and setting the timer before finding a good position. Masterful work for a one man job if I do say so myself.

A more obvious fake I've never seen. Why, the grain lines don't match up and there's an obvious clipping issue where his knees "touch" my shirt.

But, hey, if things don't work out at your day job, there's always a bright career ahead of you at The Weekly World News. Oh, wait... They went under, didn't they? Well, your screwed.
