Where the Hell Have I Been?
Yeah, it’s been, what, a little over two weeks since my last post? Well, I’ve been sick that entire time. A cold-turned-sinus-infection that kept me out of work for three-and-a-half days last week.
But… I’m back.
I’ve been taking a lot of shit — and justifiably so — for my lack of productivity in The Victory Streak department. You want page two? Well, you’re going to get page one… again.
“Uhm… what?”
I’m re-writing the story. I came up with a cool idea that’s just too good not to inject into the first issue. Plus, I realized the things that “Writer Bill” was demanding of “Penciler Bill” in the original script were impractical. My abortive attempts at pencilling page two have taught me a great deal about the discipline of storytelling, like what you can fit in a panel and what you can’t.
I’ll post the new script on my Web site for anyone who doesn’t want to wait for me to get the damn thing drawn. For those who are willing to take the gamble that I’ll finish the comic before The End of Time, I’ll be posting each page as it’s penciled. Oh, and I’ll be notifying you all via my blog.

Great, now I have to watch for The Victory Streak as one of the signs of the Apocalypse.

Take 10 years, you’ll still be doing better than Neal Adams on Ms Mystic!
Hope you’re all healed up now.

Dude, I’m still waiting for the next issue of Armor and The Silver Streak. It’s only been, what, 15 years?
