Heh, kinda the reverse of what we got. A couple of years ago, I got Jenn a new cat for her birthday. We walked in with this wide eyed, curious little grey furball named Rikki and Nio, her older cat, lost his mind for about a month. Rikki lived up to his namesake (Rikki-Tikki-Tavi) while Nio hissed, spit and growled at us whenever we tried to pet him, scent sprayed all his favorite places and would hide for a day at a time. There were a few days that I only saw Nio when he came out of hiding for food or water.

Two years later, we have two insane animals that chase each other around the house, wrestle, snooze while pressed together, try and keep the dogs in line and take turns stretching out on my wife's stomach and lap in attempts to out-cute each other.
