		<description>Well, as I've mentioned, I take Lexapro for mild depression. It never got bad and I made sure it never did. I wasn't happy about taking a pill but despite a few side effects (it's harder to lose weight, for example) I think it's made it easier for me to enjoy all the good things I have in my life.

It amazes me how unsympathetic people are to any mental disorder. You never see folks yelling at cancer opatients to snap out of it.

As for those whose mental disorders lead them to committ horrific crimes, I feel about it the way I'd feel about killing a rabid dog--take neither pleasure nor regret in doing what had to be done. They should just be locked up, kept away from any potential to do harm. No need for blame to be assigned, it is what it is.
